Welly's the only club I go to in Hull now, though the other week my mate thought it'd be a good idea to go to Spiders "for the banter". It wasn't.
Agreed what do you make of sugar mill on student night (think its Monday last time i went)? Also i take it you hate embrace when your back in shef then?
Steroid and JLS wonna be central where if you look at someone they smack you? And where 20 boys grind upon one girl?
I went to Sugarmill a few times when I'd just turned 18, not really my cuppa tea tbh. Embrace can be alright on a weeknight but I avoid it like the plague on a weekend, Plug's my club of choice in Sheffield.
Last time I went was sometime around Easter when they had a foam party on. I tend not to go that often though, as I said, if I'm back in Hull on a Saturday night then 9 times out of 10 I'll go to Welly. I used to go to Pozition's indie night on a Wednesday, but that remained popular for about a month. I feel bad for the Yo-Yo guys, they just can't seem to get it right as of late.
my sister goes in there never steped foot in it myself but then i not been round hull for a good 5 years and if im honest i never been in welly either the only clubs i used to go in which is goin back a while was heaven and hell and the old LAs! Few places i found to be good nights out are weston super mare ripley and bournemouth but the latter can be full of twats some weekends
Club wise, it's usually go to Welly, Pozition or Piper. Spiders- emo ****hole Sugarmill- used to go in there quite a bit after it re opened. Propaganda- mate got followed to the toilets by a bloke. We didn't stay there for very long. Boom Bar- was good last time i was there. Now it's more pubs than clubs when i'm in Hull. Old Town, go to a gig down the Fruit Market or Prinny Ave.
Agreed. Pozition is the only club I go to in Hull and I rarely go there. I much prefer Old Town now, Barracuda is half-decent.
