He had the players he wanted at Leicester, he came here, and has gradually brought them to City with him, I can't see him now heading back. I can't see a situation, beyond losing every game from now on, where Pearson could face the sack from us. He's got so much freedom, and a stable board at the KC, in comparison to at Leicester, where instant success would be expected. NP hasn't vastly out performed Sven this season, yet Sven got the push. I guess it's not impossible, but I think it's very unlikely. This thread seems bizarrely familiar one in June 2010...
It wasn't the resounding refusal I was hoping for off Nigel in his interview this afternoon. I don't think he's going, but I think more than "You know I don't talk about the situation at other clubs" was necessary. At least we have Adam suggesting that it's rubbish - and if his reason for wanting to leave Leicester originally was they didn't fight to keep him, at least we can be sure City will.
It is a little worrying, however even if he did have an interest in the job I don't we'd give permission for Leicester to speak to him.
Come off it fellas, he is just expecting papa Allam to ring him and up his contract value, and why not he deserves it. And thats what papa should do right now. He needs to be "wanted". Hope I'm right!
WILL NEVER HAPPEN. LCFC a club in total disarray and with overpaid wasters. Mid-table at best for the Fioxes. O'Neil he say No.........NP he say NO..........Lee Clark he say NO........... so down to the dross now. Boothroyd maybe ? Jones maybe ? or maybe Keegan or Hughes ? Lol. Only the desperate would want to go there.
Pearson won't go back to the crisp factory. Billy Smart is the man for the job. He knows how to run a circus.
