Known who, Pearson? He actually comes from the same area of Nottingham I live in and went to the same school, but, alias, I don't know him. Shouldn't think he'd want to rush back here!
I have a mate I have known since i was a kid! He is not usually wrong, he has had dogs for quite a few people in football, so sometimes gets info. He actually told me he thought pearson last week, but I wasn;t sure! He wasn't in the betting.
Hull fans have got so desperate they want to offer Craig Shakespeare the job just to piss our Nigel off
When Nige sees Peltier he won't be bothered about Rosenior. I'm sure he still rates our Tunchev as well.
We had Peltier on loan before we were in the PL, he's ****. Gutted you seem to have got Nige though, he was in the middle of building something here now we're back to square 1
Fair point, he's maybe improved a lot since then. If Pearson takes Chester or Stewart it will be a huge kick in the balls to us. I'm hoping we're clever enough to put something in the contract that states he can't come back to us for players for a year or whatever. Not that I think it will happen, Adam Pearson is the same bafoon that sacked Brown and hired Iain Dowie to try and save us before Nige came in.
I doubt NP will go back to Hull for any of your players so try not to worry too much, we have one of the best defenders in the championship (Alexander Tunchev) out on loan to Palace after a nightmare injury spell last 2 years. We would take him before chestnut or whatever his name is from Hull
Im pretty happy about this move - purely because it tells me the Chairman and Board understand the game and what ingredients are necesary to make it out of this league! It shows a real determination to succeed on TOP's part and that he isnt blindly chasing a big name on the assumption that being a big name should bring success. It is clear that NP feels there is another chapter to write here at Leicester and with a board that supports him and Walshy - i would be pretty positive. Of course nothing is sealed yet and Hull will no doubt be happy for this to fall through. My only reservation is his style of play trying the match the technical abilities of our squad. Bamba may start to throw his toys out the pram when he is told to stay put in his own half! On the subject of players: i would not want Fryatt back. A great steward for our club but he struggled to find scoring form in the CCC toward the end and he represents a former era that we no longer show. I also do not think Hobbs would make it into our squad despite having a fondness for him. We also have Tunchev to bring back - so no CB necesary. Lets see what happens!
