It’s all in his head, no one has called from him to go or anything like that. Remember if we lose it’s the players fault if we win it’s down to Nige. He is the only boo boy I can think off on here. We've had 2 good results and we played well in both those games.
Not long ago we were absolutely shocking against Sunderland in front of a record crowd. Who says that another similar performance/result isn't around the corner?
Despite our recent wins I'm not convinced that we've shaken the 'dropping points from winning positions' monkey off our backs quite yet. Maybe another 2 wins with clean sheets and I might start to relax during second halves of games and not get the defibrillator out after 80 minutes..... !!
I think Nige has worked out that we do better when we press high for the entire game, instead of dropping deep and trying to defend a 1 goal lead - which is good.
I'd be delighted if we can kick on from here - but I'm not letting myself get carried away.
As for Leicester wanting him back - they're sitting desperately at the bottom of the league with 0 points - I'm not surprised they want a change and that Nige has been mentioned, but I think he'd be foolish to go back there and walk away from what he's been building here.
As I've said on multiple threads; I don't know ANYONE on this forum who has called for Nige to be sacked. Several people including myself have questioned some of his tactics and selections, but I've NEVER seen anyone call for his head.

Nige should have had the job when little Lee got the job think we would be in a far better place now.F'ck me RR, you just won a game against a side who were firing blanks - that was our own fault not your manager.
No idea how good you presently are or can eventually be, but you sure as hell can't jump from despair to euphoria over your manager on the basis of that yesterday. Long season ahead and Pearson has had a year start on Morison with their respective clubs.
Not sour grapes by any means pal, but you did the double over us last year and still finished lower in the table with the experienced Pearson at the helm over there.
We'd ditched McCarthy before Christmas and Morison was virtually playing half his under 23 for the rest of the season. It's only now he's got a shot at it with 15 new imports whereas Pearson has had plenty of time to get it sorted.
Just think RR, Nige record for all games in August so far have been LWDWWSparkey I am a massive fan off Pearson and what he is building on and off the pitch at Ashton Gate Our club was rotten and he is gradually sorting it.
I have never once had doubt about him unlike many on here that have.
Just think RR, Nige record for all games in August so far have been LWDWW
We now have ~
Wycombe (A) Carabao - Aug 21st
Blackpool (A) Aug 27th
Huddersfield (H) Aug 31st
If he gets some consistant results from these he could be ' Manager of the Month' for August...![]()
Yes it's taken him that long to work out something I've been screaming for for the last two seasonsI think Nige has worked out that we do better when we press high for the entire game, instead of dropping deep and trying to defend a 1 goal lead - which is good.

LJ signed Wells, another miracle...Sometimes when you have no other choice a forced introduction of players can work miracles.
I've been banging on about the loss of Semenyo yet have we found/forced into a combination of Conway and Wells that might well turn up trumps.
It happened with Bobby Reid perhaps lightening does strike twice.
I know if it's not broken don't fix it, but I also think the idea of Semenyo & Conway will be interesting......Semenyo came on so much last season... the pair would be a defense's nightmare!!Sometimes when you have no other choice a forced introduction of players can work miracles.

BCFC keep beating. thats three out of three. If you get the next two its still 3-2 and you will still cry in your beds!!!

Think it’s longer now, possibly 2008 but still reigning leaders between usSo you did ROD - my bad.
Haven't checked, but that was probably the first time for 10 years though.......![]()
Perhaps if we'd employed Nige instead of GJ then we would have done what LNige should have had the job when little Lee got the job think we would be in a far better place now.

LJ is gone. NP is here now and I support him 100% but that doesn’t mean I can’t question or criticise him.
