I thought that was what it was all of the time, I seem to recall the Steve Cotterill had the same problem after first returning at Shrewsbury and had go sick for a 2nd time.
SC was in a right mess after covid and obviously it has affected big Nige in the same way.
Club should have just come out with it and we could all wish Nige well.
Nope go and listen to it again nothing about covid.I am with @AshtonRed over this, I thought it was discussed in the Gould interview and was obvious.
What did you think it was if not COVID, or long COVIDNope go and listen to it again nothing about covid.

stand with legs apart and point downward ... plan B .... if Plan A blows into face!Nobody wanted this to happen and yet here we go again peeing in to the wind and not liking what's coming back towards our faces.
Obviously our thoughts are with Nigel during his health issues and we wish him a speedy recovery however it is a situation we don't really need when we are performing at our current level. The team is in disarray and falling faster than at the many other times we have faced difficulty and with the coaching side of the equation up in the air I fear we are heading for the relegation nightmare. Since last season when NP joined us on a look-see scenario the results under his stewardship are brutal, bordering on farcical, and with the current squad under his direction I can see nowhere else but a relegation fight. There has been no dead cat bounce, or any other signs of footballing life in the players we have, which leads me to ask what the hell can happen to change this dire predicament? Will the January transfer window offer any redemption or will we spin the usual wheels and excuses to deflect criticism?
Nobody wanted this to happen and yet here we go again peeing in to the wind and not liking what's coming back towards our faces. Getting control of difficult events is not high on the list of good decisions made by the club and I just wonder if that history will show it's ugly face again or will we end up with a smile on our collectives faces sometime soon? Keep posted but don't expect solutions just promises.
It's Bristol City FC, is anyone surprised ? Decades of more or less total indifference have left us rudderless, again.
Biggest city in the whole of the UK, and possibly Europe, not to have had a team in it's premier league. That's not counting the old division 1 we were briefly in from the mid 70's for 4 seasons.
Are you saying that he doesn’t have the capability to get results with the players we got? if that’s the case, maybe we didn’t need a different manager at all!!!The strange thing here -we have never employed a manager of NPs ilk in my time watching Bristol City-We now have a top rated physio in the background. But he inherited a **** football team which will take time to mould to his standards.
But unless the board are going to invest more into the football team we are going to be at a standstill.
over to you Mr L.

Has he proved that he is with us so far?I think he is saying that has been the case for nearly 2 years with 3 managers and a host of golden coaches, we need to find a decent coach.
Has he proved that he is with us so far?
Oh are you saying get a decent coach as well as NP or instead of? mix up between manager and coachyou’ve lost me
