You haven't read about the 'terrorists' then? Way more than passion in the man, he has a full on sports psychology system he puts in place. Something this club has needed for half a decade and something I hope the new boss deeply subscribes to. There's a reason players run through walls for him and nowt to to with his passion and everything to do with the way he's operates his football club. The Season Leicester won the Prem was the last season Pearson's infrastructure was left fully in place. The following season Ranieri scrapped it and few month later he has sacked. Really hope the new manager is a big fan of Sports Psychology and it's uses.
I don't hate him, I was all for him and voted on it, the point is he need not have made any comment at all at this point in time, the comment on McInnes reflects opinion of many football supporters north of the border, who surprising enough take an interest in our situation.
But everybody who's ruled themselves out has made a comment, often not complementary. Could you show me the quote where he's been so out of order please? I've clearly missed it and there ain't no comment in the OP's article or anywhere on this thread.
I haven't seen any quotes from Pearson about it full stop, seems he said something but what and to who is unknown.
Just gone through every report on google and I can't find a single bridge burning comment. In fact I can't see a single quote full stop. Don't think it exists personally. Clearly a brief and simple press release.
The only information I have, is the thread title, I may well be misguided, but that has never stopped me yet . Also I was disappointed in hearing that Pearson had turned us down, but that it seems may not be the case, somebody might be having a laugh, cheers mate. As you say its ridiculous trying to appoint a manager until the club ownership is sorted out.
I have a feeling it could be the other way round you know? Given his overall lack of comment. Get the feeling it's us who's knocked him back. Get the feeling we've told everyone we've interviewed they've been knocked back. I think the Takeover is that close we've told our shortlist it will now be left to the new owners. With Stockdale already announced as taking first team training I think he'll be the only one in charge until the Germans are in. Nowt to base this on like. Just a feeling it's close.
If his covering letter was anything like his press interview, he never stood a chance. His reasons for being the ideal candidate were that he had 6 months experience in the Championship with the team that finished top. He also said it was possible because look what Stam done at Reading with no experience. That's all he had to say. @Disco down under not sure why it didn't copy your quote there.
