Certainly a different approach than under MA/LJ, who certainly seemed to just keep trying different players until it worked. Let's see/hope that this approach works, it's his call, it seems there is some money available, although clearly not to the level of the last 3 years. If he chooses to wait, then that's fine, as long as it doesn't cost us our Championship status as a result.

I think if we stay up, and things get back to normal, then SL will give him a good amount of money next summer, and NP knows it, so is sitting tight. I like this approach, as long as it works....

'He’s not been fazed by the fact we can't afford this or we can't do this, we work together and we've put together a three-year plan to get us where we want to get to and he's working at it.
He is happy with his squad and the fitness of the squad at the moment. There’s a calmness about him and at the place, which we haven’t had for a while.'

What money is this that is available?, so far he has spent the same as Holden was allowed to spend on his sicknote.
