Yes, but unfortunately I also followed your advice last season, and the one before, and the one before... So I'm still a fair bit down
You were wrong. He can't be sacked next season - unless he gets re-instated YET AGAIN - then sacked again.
..just out of interest... did you have any reason to suspect this might have been about to happen? ... whilst I've never been his greatest fan I couldn't have foreseen this coming and confess to being somewhat stunned right now...
If you'd followed my advice, you'd be in the money, as far as the bookies are concerned the season starts the day the fixtures came out and they're now paying out on Pearson's sacking. I'm only yanking your chain by the way, I didn't really think anyone would really follow my advice, though I absolutely expected his sacking.
I wasn't on the wind up, I absolutely expected his sacking, though I confess, not quite so soon. Nothing to do with his ability as a manager, but because of the cumulative effect of the daft things he(and his son) had done, I believed that one more incident and he'd be toast.
Looks like that one more incident happened and he is gone. I backed him all the way last season but oh well - I'm a Leicester fan so will support the new guy all the way.
Not surprised - poor old Nigel is not "the full shilling", "the elevator does not quite go to the top" and he "is not playing with a full deck." Shame - Leicester might stay up next season with a decent new manager.
As I said, I'm not too surprised myself. Just disappointed. I'd have been more surprised if we'd started the season with him then sacked him.
The funny thing is the Hull fans have been proven wrong by Nigel at every opportunity He achieved success, ran away with the league and achieved the great escape and was never pushed onto his sword for football reason or his own personal actions. Just the actions of the little twat who he shares blood with
Nonsense, he was mainly sacked for his own antics, the antics of his son(and perhaps also his own reaction to those antics) were just the final straw.
He was probably on thin ice but they wouldnt fire someone who just saved us from the drop without a new "situation" arising.
