It's a huge leap into the unknown, but Barmby was a talented player and bleeds black and amber.

It might be a few years too soon but with a decent assistant and a bit of financial backing (maybe another Man Utd loanee too) we could be fine.

NP has left behind a talented young squad, we play good football and we have a decent chanc eof making the play-offs.

I’ve just had a horrible dream, Nigel left us and went to Hull we got some bloke called Sousa in to play beautiful football but it all went wrong. We were crap then along can Sven, he spent a **** load of money but we were still crap. Then I woke up and guess what Nigel is still after all. I love dreams with happy endings.

The real problem for other teams in the division is that it looks like Southampton and West Ham will be the automatic promotion teams.

This still leaves decent teams like Blackpool, Birmingham, Boro, Leeds, Palace, Cardiff, us and you (and others) fighting for the four play-off places.

If we don't go up in May pretty sure he will be sacked, pretty hard line but the owners want prem league now.

I am now very confident that with proper money and walshies imput we will go up though.

Cant see it myself if we finish in the play-offs (win or lose), i can see him being held onto.
