I remember the intelligent ones, telling us during campaigning for the referendum that the UK would immediately go into recession just on the leave vote winning.

I guess they weren’t as intelligent as they were making out.

For clarification I had no strong views on Brexit and could understand to a degree why there were reasons people may have voted for it and of course Farage and Johnson capitalised on people’s genuine issues of concern.

However, if you voted for Brexit at least have the good grace to recognise it has damaged the economy whilst contributing massively in giving us record immigration as the vast majority of the experts told us that would happen.

It isn’t conceited to point out the experts were right and those that followed Farage and Johnson were wrong. The facts are all there for people to see.

If it gives you pleasure belittling people you don’t know on a footy forum for pointing this out fair enough but if you voted for Brexit you really need to own it. Of course it’s every one else’s fault now including those trying to sort the significant damage it has done to our economy and as aside I ain’t your marra.

 

A protest politician in every sense of the word. No solutions just hate and divisiveness. Look at his history snd his financial backers. Sadly he fools way too many in this country.

 

Ok,so let's move on from this blame syndrome the Marx brothers on here have engineered for a good while...whether they're right or not. Doesn't matter now,it's the past. Regardless of who anyone thinks is to blame.
What are the remedies and the path we should take to extricate ourselves from our current entranched malaise ?

 

My opinion of what? I have already said there are too many immigrants and that it has to stop. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence would agree. Nigel Farage did not make me aware of it. The difference between me and Nigel is that I don't lie and say I can "fix" it because I am not a liar. Farage has no such compunction in using terminological inexactitudes to say he can "fix" it to get power, because he is. I usually find that if a man lies to you about something it is because of ulterior motives.
