So Nigel may well be on his way to A.C. Milan in a transfer. Why are we selling some of our best players and bring in no one. Jack Rodwell may well be able to take over from Nigel in the next couple of seasons, however for now we need to keep hold of Nigel. Yes I know it may well come down to that he is in the last yr of his contract, and that he can leave for nothing at the end of it. However we do need apreplacement if we are to challenge on all fronts this season.

NDJ was one of the best and we miss him.
We should have kept him even if he left for free at the end of the season as we only got about £4M for him anyway. One more season could have brought on Rodwell whilst avoiding some of the mistakes Rodders has made and will make over the next few months.
