I think there's also a danger of Pemberton and Elliott being too matey with some or all of the players post SC rather than having the player/manager relationship, but I don't know for sure of course. But when you come down to it, every appointment and signing is a gamble. We could appoint SAF but there's no guarantee he could keep us up.
I am not convinced that our good win on Saturday was anything to do with the honeymoon period. More like the reaction of players released from the shackles and able to do their job to better effect. Anyway, we will find out soon...
