I have said before no source now. If you wish to go along with Nigel Adkins on his bus filled with joy and happiness then I am glad for you. But as you are entitled to your opinion, I am to mine. However we need to get out of League One this year, no he hasn't had a full season but we are slipping up and putting in more poor performances this year. Last year teams were scared of us, this year I just don't think they are, we don't have a killer instinct.
If you're not going to allow "sources, rumour and hear say" it's going to be a pretty boring forum. Surley provided nothing is slander or libel then any inside info is welcome, we're all adults we can decide for ourselves whther it's a load of pony or not.I have a mate who works for a press agency and he gives me snippets of gossip now and again (not particulary about Saints, but footballers/Clubs or celebs in general). I certainly wont be posting his name on here.
DTLW...... Young man the past is in the past let it die a death and be done with it!! We can certainly see that you are not happy in that the team are putting in poor performances. Why do you think they are....is it all down to bad management or just the players or is it both!? I think teams paid us a bit more respect perhaps last year, not sure i would call it being frightened of us. We have certainly given the impression we can be taken by playing a certain way this year. Your questions are raising yet more questions with out offering any answers or solutions. Negativity is no solution so you have to look for positives that you can put in place to turn it around. Going continually around telling people what they already know and feel is unhelpful. So look for solutions, how can we the fans help. What can I do for the team. Not what can the team do for me that is negative.......look forward not back....
My personal opinion is at, and yes it will sound patronising 'smaller' clubs such as Brighton and Bournemouth, who, don't get me wrong have done tremendously well and admire them for it - play as a unit, they play for eachother, the manager and the fans. I think some players get to Saints and think they have cracked it and don't put as much into their performances of the nitty-gritty close-knit teams like at Bournemouth, who have it a bit tough - while Saints players' are pampered and given the best facilities. I think Nigel has to take some responsibility but had we been more clinical in front of goal this season then teams would of lost heart and not of beaten, or drawn with us. Do you agree BeddyTare?

He achieved success with Scunthorpe on limited funds and is aiming to do the same at Saints. Success doesn't happen over night, then again as a Hull fan you should already know that!
What i dont understand is how he couldnt see that we had no one down the right hand side all game last night n'guessen was constanty in the middle and was poor so poor he got substituted. If 1,500 Saints fans could see that why couldnt he ?
DTLW, now you have named your source it does seem interesting considering that you said there was 'unrest' in the squad. Puncheon has been a let down to many this year and never really looked interested from the start of this season... And how might you know him/his cousin?

I'm so slow (or it's very late) but I thought it was a recent comment from DTLW slagging off NA. I was thinking surely finishing 2nd by 3 points isn't that bad. Need some Sanatogen (thats red bull for old folks!).
Was reading this nearly crying thinking that something had happened that was catastrophic for saints and adkins, what a wally I feel now, although not as much as DTLW I suspect! ;D
Everyone who is doubting adkins ability probably knows very little about the game of football in its purity.
