There’s a balance to be met, let our fans know we’ve not not let him go for a song, whilst telling other clubs we’ve not got loads of cash to splash about.
The club could have waited and told us after the transfer window.. (I know you like a bit of common sense)
Hopefully by then we would have bought the players we required that would have put us in good stead for a playoff place……wishful thinking!!

i like to think most clubs have enough common sense ... that phrase again, to realise that whilst theres a few quid in our till its not going to be spunked on average players at silly prices, well at least i hope not.
