So Peter Lawell's daughter did work experience at a law firm 2 years ago? And ... ?

By the way, she's quite fit. <ok>

does it really matter what lawyers are used? If the evidence is there it's there if it's not it's not

Of course it does.

How would Celtic feel if they were being investigated by Rangers' Lawyer's and Charles Green's daughter worked for the firm ?

I read that they had a testimonial from Lawwell on their website too, I think it is pretty naive of the SPL to appoint them to be honest, why not appoint lawyers that have got absolutely no connections to anybody involved, surely that would be the sensible and obvious thing to do.

***** <doh>
I did a year placement in a management consultancy, audit, insolvency, tax etc... firm, constant emails through the intranet asking about about potential clients and cases and potential conflicts of interest. Once I left they probably forgot about me the next day. I'm sure the case with her is no different, no conflict of interest.

Paranoid whacko

They've worked for the SPL for some time. They also have worked for the Scottish Government, William Hill, HSBC, Optical Express, RBS, Clydesdale Bank, E.ON., The Forestry Commision and are the legal representatives for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. They're also the first scottish company to win a Supplier Excellence award from the Dept of Work and Pensions.

Nonetheless, it's obvious that they are controlled by Peter Lawell and have been instructed to "hammer" Rangers.

Do you honestly think there is a "conflict of interest"?

My suspicion is that regardless of who was appointed, you Rangers fans would find some reason why they shouldn't. FF would find some tenuous link with the "enemies of Rangers" (be it Celtic / the Catholic Church / irish republicans / the BBC / Graham Spiers ). And paranoia's supposed to be our thing <laugh>
