HI DM, interesting stuff about Lukaku, TBH I don't know enough about him to give an opinion.

I think we would have won had dear old Ledley played I know that, plus a half competent set of officials :)

I liked what I read so much...I did it twice!...good stuff, love the bit about the electric atmosphere, and as it says, he's been in some stadiums!

Like you Ghoddle10, VDV is one of my favourite players at Spurs atm (got his name on my 2010-11 shirt - first Spurs shirt I've bought for years) - he does annoy me when things aren't quite going his way though - he can sometimes be completely anonymous in a match, but more often than not, he comes up with the goods.

I'm pleased though that we're not relying on his goals as much this season though - it's evidence that we've improved upfront overall, whereas last season VDV was our main outlet.

Funfact - last season we scored 55 goals in the PL @ an average of 1.45 goals a game, this season we've scored 30 goals after 14 games @ 2.14 goals a game.

Defensively: Last season, conceeded 46 goals @ an average of 1.21 goals a game, this season - 18 from the 14 games @ 1.29 goals a game (however, if you discount the first 2 Manchester games that ratio improves dramatically).

So - we're scoring more and conceeded about the same, if a little less - good time to be a Spurs fan. We may/may not be in the mix for the title at the end of the season, but we should certainly be up there with a real good challenge for 3rd and 4th.

Lukakakukuku - he's the "new Drogba" right? If he's as good as Drogba (was) then i'd have him. But seeing as its Chelsea it should be £60m + Lukakauakauaku.
Maybe we try and should sign Richie McCaw for the next Stoke game?

It's a "done deal." Or so I have heard.

Yep, I love the Dutch wonder, but he was anonymous against Stoke.
Cheers for the stats too Morpheus <ok>
