If McGinn spent as much time improving his game as he did in the nightclubs and bars of Glasgow, he might not have been punted out on loan or let go at the end of his contract...

The half filipino piano playing one - aye
The one from Cardiff - four pints
The one that looked like Shrek - naw

Fact I'm afraid mate. Was one of the reasons he was sent down south on loan. Was always a really nice lad as well whenever I chatted to him, but my mate who works in a particular glasgow nightclub mentioned he thought McGinn was in there more than he was when I mentioned him.

Bullshite they signed him on a new deal just before he went on loan, if they had lifestyle concerns they wouldn't have done that. He just hasn't progressed as we hoped but he still has time.

My mate who works on the oil rigs has never seen him in any nightclub. Anyway they all go to nightclubs there footballers they are mainly a bit dim and act laddish its normal.

OSP has access to the CCTV of various nightclubs in Glasgow from his bolthole in downtown Melbourne.

You don't have a clue, Tam.

I despair. I would have thought I could get an honest answer from a professed Celtic fan .. albeit one from the other side of the world but with 'contacts' and his finger on the pulse?

My bad, I didn't realise that by not updating my location to Glasgow again when I came home this year, that I was instantly elevated to the level of ****nugget normally reserved for the likes of BH and Medro.

I said what I saw (on a regular basis) about McGinn, and also what a mate who works in the game told me. Believe it or not if you want.

Fair enough OSP. I accepted what you said in good faith. It seems, however, that quite a few others disagree with you, leaving me no wiser on the subject of Niall McGinn. Not to worry - he's no longer at Celtic, so no big deal ... unless he comes back to bite us big-time!

Not only does young Niall frequent the bar on Belfasts Falls Road that his friend Patrick McCourt has a financial interest in but he can be encountered in various watering holes in West Belfast and Ardoyne.

I can confirm that Niall does not partake in the consumption of soft drinks or lemonade shandys on said visits.

He is, as stated above, a very nice guy.

Allegedly, McGinn was asked to leave Celtic after he refused to bum one of the young lhads in the underground lair.

Leggat is aware of the situation and is working on a story....

Is that all your dead club can throw at us now ???? Quicker your club is placed in div 3 the better , Elgin and East Stirling fans might have more time for your sick mind Edge than we do .

Well he'll be a useful signing in that he can drive Johnny Rep home after the pubs close.

To be fair, they'd have been cheaper hiring this guy to get Johnny home

Ok Pud, whatever you say - not a lot I can say, other than that I thought he was a promising prospect ... afraid if I do argue, in any case, you might close this thread down as well. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    Pud's pwned by EC.

I agree btw, McGinn was a good wee player, don't think he really got a proper opportunity with the Hoops.

Hope he does well at the sheep molestors.
