Used to go out with a lass the same - 2 of those leg brace things and worked for the Courts service. Refused to simply stop working - here's a thing - a Doctor said "Why are you working when you can make as much through being on DLA?" - so the Dr's are saying this to her (about 10 years ago now) so why would people want to work? She did - much in the same vein as your mate - my uncle, on the other hand, is one of those "Registered disabled, fat bastard lazy twats" you talk about - he's deaf FFS and massively overweight (type 2 diabetes due to it) and he had an operation so he has a hearing aid constantly and can hear as well as you or me - yet he complains about everything like the world is terrible on him and has been on the sick for 8 months after having a STENT fitted (my dad returned to work after 3 months after a triple bypass!) boils my piss (he's only 45 year old BTW - not in his 60's like my Dad is!)

That's pathetic isn't it, when people think the world owes them a living.

There's no sink or swim anymore, if people are sinking they're thrown a lifeline, the world order is ****ed up because natural selection is out of the window, never before have the weak thrived so much in the history of mankind.

I have had several positions to fill in the last few years, some of which have required no experience at all, I have interviewed probably well in excess of 250 people and I'll tell you right now, not one of them has been an obese slob. They categorically refuse to work on the basis that 'people will stare at me'.

There's not a single fat person in my gym, ever, despite the fact that it's a sponsored gym for getting chubbers back into work.

Somewhere along the line these people need hard loving and ultimatums, rather than fudge and handouts.

you are 100% correct ,its like a different world when you hear them talk about how they get this and how they get that ,no shame at all ,now i will wait to hear its the systems fault and not the scroungers themselves ,always been taught if you wanted something you worked for it ,different generation .

I'm of a different generation to you mate, but the same rule applies to me, I wake up every morning with a mindset to graft and earn my living.

Those who make the rules have ruined it for everybody, attempting to make a race 'equal' when nature and history dictates it should never be that way.

Best post I've read in ages <ok>..

I live with total disablement and everyday ups and downs and the traumas that hammer the whole family. My lass would take the last breath in her body to get into her wheelchair and go through any pain barrier, so Terry give that man a pat on the back from me..

I have lots of stories about the NHS over the last 5-6 years, good and bad but unfortunately the bad vastly outweighs the good.

For me the problem is under staffing on the nursing side and having to follow the red tape, to tick the endless paperwork boxes to keep these managers (who the fcuk are they) happy..

And i'll second that one mate. I've just had a spell on the dole (never claimed a ****ing penny either) and you see some of the fat lazy bastards signing on every week, coming out with their excuses why they can't work, their skin wouldn't graft. Boils my ****ing piss mate.

Surprised at that Joe, I always though they were grafters, don't know where it come from like, just this vision I had going round in my head. I think it stems from the old pit days when men were men, sadly a time long forgotten by todays society.

The Yorkies are a docile, thick bunch of people. Everything VJ says about the vast majority of them is spot on! Only problem is, Lollie runs rings around him ;)
