I have been reading the comments on N'gog and one thing no-one has stated is the fact that the lad never played more than 3 in a row for Liverpool. If I remember rightly, last season everyone was slagging off Welbeck saying he's just not good enough. 10 games later he's scores week in and week out for us and now everyone wants him signed, and at the back end of the season we could clearly see what we were missing because we all knew what Danny's playing ability was and it clearly showed....

If we sign him let's see what he brings to the table and not judge him on everyone else's opinions because it's not fair to do that. If after 10 game he's a pile of pap then I think it's fair to have a pop. Until then I will reserve my judgement on the lad.

N'Gog is ****e, doesnt want to come to Sunderland, hasnt scored in 63 games. I dont give a **** how many of these are starts or not, he cant score enough goals!

People bang on about only coming on as subs etc but you can either find the net or you cant no matter how long you are on the field and this lad cannot.

Comments about him being young and fast are irrelevant because he is **** at football in the Premier League.

His main problem is his physical strength. If he bulks up a bit he could become a decent player.

Wow InBruceWeTrust - point taken you don't want him at the club. It not me you need to voice your opinion to mate because I have no buying power at the club. Bruce is your man, you should give him a call :)

I saw him at the back end of the season and he looked like he'd put on weight, as did Welbeck.

    I'll take him.

Young, tall, bags of pace exactly what we need in my opinion. Could be a welbeck or campbell IF he gets a run of games. Not saying he's a world beater but better signings may come later.

I just dont get any buzz whatsoever about N'Gog at all. He represents the kind of buy you sneak in the back door out of embarrassment and will not sell one single season ticket if he comes.

Gyan signing excited me. So did Bent and Catts but his lad smacks of a total desperation panic buy. I cant imagine Bruce has had him watched at all but is just looking around for cheap options to fill the squad.

    Depressing targets these.

In fairness Cest I felt the same about Bramble when he arrived...... Proved to be awesome! I'm not excited but if he arrives I'll back him to the hilt.

"I'm in the Echo camp and think he may just surprise a lot of people. "

I'm not and unlikely to be amazed. That's the camp I'm in. After watching Sunderland for forty years I may not spot a star immediately but I can detect ****e from forty miles off. This bloke is ****e. :p
