:D well it's not like he'll hang around too long once Mike Cashley decides his value is enough to keep him in pies and pints for a few months

The fact is you are correct and that's ****ing annoying enough as it is without vagrants like you coming on here and winding us up about it.

If we get N'Gog, I will personally go up to Liverpool and remove Mr. Dalgish's nutsack for selling us such a terrible, terrible player.

I don't like it but I honestly feel the striker Pardew has promised will be someone like this. Maybe the club are being ambitious with the targets or just bidding for players who are not going to come but come the last week of the transfer window someone like N'Gog will arrive. He is better than Kuqi after all.

"Lucas will never be good enough to play for Liverpool."

"Kuyt will never be good enough to play for Liverpool."

    "Mata, not Downing."

If this is the level of punditry you trust then don't buy.

However, if you want a young PL-experienced player who was our top scorer under Hodgson - a horse for a course, so to speak - then the kid has a lot of potential, which as we can see from the quotes above is pretty tough for some people to spot.

Whilst I agree with what you're saying, I think we need to get rid anyway. If he's going to realise that potential he has to play, and we need a 3rd/4th choice striker, not somebody who needs games to realise his potential.

I honestly believe that he could do a job at Newcastle.

However, I suspect that the Newcastle fans wouldn't be too happy if he was the only striker that came in...
