Do you actually understand what "overrated" means? It means he isn't as good as people rate him. People ridiculously rate him as good as Messi and Pele when he is not.

Those comparisons always get thrown out, the new this or that, that is part and parcel of the sport, what is not really logical is taking stock in any of it and also I would say your "Most overrated player in history" post was as accurate as the claims he is the new Pele or Messi.
Fact remains the guy is a class player but very raw and a lot remains to be seen and people who claim he will be this or that are looking at his potential. barca will make a player out of him and it is apparent the guy has a lot to learn. He's plenty of time to improve his game, but he has the ability.

Who rates him as good as Messi and Ronaldo?
I've seen people say he could be that good one day (myself included) but he will need to work very hard and get a lot of luck along the way to achieve that level. That's different to saying he is as good as them!
Edit: me saying he could be as good as them does not mean I think he will be either!
