If anyone wants a perfect example of hypocrisy, copy this The turning of the tables on Barca, ranked second in the world for turnover last season in the Deloitte Money League, has been met with anger in Spain where the president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, accused PSG of state-backed “financial doping”. He said to Spanish newspaper AS that there would be a formal La Liga complaint to Uefa and the European Union about “the teams that receive economic investment from countries that gift players to their fans at the cost of taking them from other clubs.”
Finally he escapes minimum wage at Barca. How different will his life be with the extra this brings. Apart from moving from Spain to France, no difference at all.
It's an ego trip, mate. Evidence suggests he was pissed off about Messi's mega deal and felt he deserved the same. Cue teddy flying out of the pram, and off he stomps to where they'll pay him more than Messi.
Its the medias ****ing fault. Again, people keep saying money is ruining the game. But Neymar wouldn't have a scooby ****ing doo what Messi is getting paid unless it was reported in the media. I doubt Messi said "Yo Ney, I just signed a new 350k pw contract, how much you on?" Agents and the media are killing this game.
You can't hide anything nowadays, there's always a leak, deliberate or not. Whichever way he's found out, he's still behaving like a spoilt brat
No just about him though is it? With all that money his kids and their kids and their kids and their kids will be set for life. He was on about 300k a week at Barcelona, he's supposedly doubled that. Not like there's no difference. Besides. I do think this is more than money. He'll forever be under Messi's shadow at Barca. If he takes PSG to the Champions League then he creates his own legacy.
He's 5 years younger than Messi. In 2 years time he would be the main man at Barca. As it is he'll be the main man at PSG who will definitely win the French league but he will have to win the CL to even get into the frame as the best player in the world. Playing in an uncompetitive league won't help PSG when it comes to trying to win the CL.
I know, but he will always be compared to Messi. He's never going to be as good as Messi and he knows that. If he takes PSG from where they are now to winning the Champions League year after year then he'll be forever known as a great and he might win as many Ballon d'Ors as Messi/Ronaldo.
They're unlikely to win the CL year after year. Twatting Nice and Bordeaux every week won't condition them to beat Barca, Bayern, Real or United...
I was waiting for the it's a short career he needs to make the money when he can, angle. Use that one next time Aky
