You’re bang on mate. Pisses me off listening to old timers referring to Sunderland going through a bad spell in the 70s/80s therefore we should just accept absolute ****e now because it’s better than what it once was. People pay good money to go and watch their club whilst giving up what’s normally one of their only two days off every week and they’re entitled to their own opinion/expectations. We aren’t Scunthorpe United we’re a fairly big club so this notion that getting out of L1 was some sort of achievement is embarrassing.

I’ll probably renew again but I’m having to try and battle for my own seat I’ve held for years, which I more than likely won’t get because it’s in the south stand, because of a massive ticket office cock up that they held no accountability for. Basically cancelled my ticket through their own error (that they still refuse to accept responsibility for) and sold it straight on to someone else who bought a part season card.

how did they sell your ticket to a part season buyer
    When you already had it

Cancelled my card due to non payment which could’ve only been on their end. Wasn’t going to the match throughout September/October due to a close family member serious illness. Went to forward a ticket in October and my account was locked, finally got through to digital ticket sales and they said just come down to the ticket office and pay the card they’ll reinstate my seat. So I done exactly that and when I went in they told me I couldn’t do that but I could buy a part season card, so I asked for my normal seat and they’d sold it straight on to a part season card holder already. Provided proof from the bank that there was more than enough money in the account when payment was due but they still refused to accept responsibility even though this has happened to numerous others. They’ve just been lucky enough to cotton on straight away whereas I hadn’t because I was spending most nights in hospital and not attending the matches to realise the card was cancelled and they didn’t bother to contact me on one of the two mobile numbers, two email addresses or my home address.

No, it’s been my seat for years. They cancelled the card in October and sold it on to a part season card holder as soon as they could in November.

If only they could sell the 10k empty seats the home end every week as easily, some of you on here might actually get out of the armchair :emoticon-0105-wink:

When they cancelled did you not get a new seat
Why did they cancel after you bought the seat

No because I wanted my seat back, it’s been my seat for years and it’s in the south where it’s impossible to get another seat I would’ve had to have move stands which I refused to do. Cancelling my seat wasn’t even the issue to be honest **** happens it wasn’t how unhelpful the ticket office were in resolving the matter. I have another season card I have access to so going to the match isn’t an issue but they basically just wouldn’t admit something went wrong their end even though I’d given them proof then the digital ticket office email was telling me one thing whilst the staff in the ticket office were telling me another. After not bothering to try and contact me once which I found bizarre surely if they tried to take a payment and it bounced as they claim they would contact me to let me know..?

You might've had your wish this morning tbh.

When I got out of bed I went into the kitchen and had searing pains in my lower stomach every time I moved ...

... imagine how stupid I felt when I realised I'd tied my belly hairs in my pyjama draw string <laugh>

I'm not sure that they will issue a physical card automatically. I think that you may have to reapply.. It may be worth contacting the ticket office to clarify the position to avoid dashing around at the last minute.

Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest's increase in season ticket prices for the 2024-25 season has been strongly criticised by a fans group. An adult season ticket in Zone One of the Brian Clough Upper stand has increased by 28% while a child's season ticket has increased by up to 111%.

The most expensive adult ticket for next season at Forest, who have five games left and are at risk of Premier League relegation, costs £850. That season ticket, in Zone One of the club's new pricing bands, is up from £660 this season, while the cheapest has increased from £465 to £550.
