    40 YEARS!!!!!! Please tell me thats wrong<yikes> It can't be more than 10 surely. It seems like yesterday sometimes I remember it so well. I can more or less go through the whole day minute by minute. It does get a bit hazy at points but that was alcohol related:emoticon-0105-wink:

    I'd hardly call it that ....so low earnings they had to pay my digs! I get your point though :) but I am 45, knackered knees and a tad overweight

    Crikey..! I do begin to feel sorry for the players of that era. All of them were in their mid-twenties or early thirties. Blimey, Lawrie was in his late-thirties back then wasn't he..? They're all getting on. It's a fact of life that somewhere along the line one's heroes will die, and thankfully I'm only in my early years of that.
