I am more convinced that 1st goal will win this game. Our tails have been up. Are we seeing changing fortunes? A more attacking style at last...beginnings and stirrings last few matches.
We are so poor at passing and retaining possession. We are very good at gifting it away easily though
To be fair, the commentators have been quite impressed with our play. Listening is different from watching it, I know.
Looks to me like Chambers only has one instruction, when you have the ball, hump it into the oppositions FB area. That's it, I've seen him do nothing but that all match. He's currently one of the weakest links in the team. His defending has been bad recently as well as his distribution
Are you kidding me mate? We've been gash today. Mick picked a team full of willing runners and no quality. Our number 9 is on corners but it's not like they're brilliant deliveries. It's not been pretty. The ball is pumped forward by almost all of our players at any given opportunity. I can't wait for Mick to be gone, we play **** footie
Sorry to hear that, how different it sounds. Might have been different if that Garner goal had been allowed.
Haven't seen a replay so don't know what happened there. Garner has done nothing again today, I hope Mick brings Kieffer back from loan to be our focal point. At the very least I hope he doesn't sell him, I want to see him get another chance under a different manager.
How often do we throw the ball in just for the other team to come away with it? It's ridiculous how many times we lose possession from a throw in or dead ball situation
****e, not a shot on target all game. Don't care what's being said on the commentary, we were poor. Waghorn wasted out wide and on dead balls, Garner was crap. Good to see Bish and Huws back. When you pick a starting line-up like that against a team like Villa they're not going to worry about too much and will attack at will. There was only Waghorn to keep an eye on. What do all new attacking players that come to ITFC have in common? They score a handful of goals when they arrive but 6 months with Mick and they become useless
Very disappointing. I had some hopes. Dashed again. We cant get a new manager in soon enough. Our talent such as it is, is wasted, year in year out.
Was Garners goal correctly chalked off? According to the guy covering the game on Sky we were playing well first half.
