The difference is that we have got a bloody good manager and a squad full of young, hungry players who more than proved they are up to the job on Saturday. Add Rickie Lambert to that and we have one of the best English strikers in the country.

I know you're right just trying to create some balance, the level of optimism going around is great considering its one win in four! When we were rooted to the bottom I was looking at the positives and saying it wasn't all doom and gloom.

So getting off the psychiatrists couch I either like things to be fairly steady and not get carried away with the lows and the highs as they often balance each other out over a season or I simply like to disagree with the majority!

How are those lows and highs going to balance themselves out over a season when we've successfully made the top four..? :)

My confidence is not to do with one win in four but to do with the way we perform and our three losses in sixteen. We all know that we've had too many draws and not enough wins, but we are on 27 points and I can't see us falling apart after such a prolonged period of decent play.

We seem to have stopped conceding goals again, unfortunately we have stopped scoring them too.I think you'll do 'arrys' duffers, lose to the toon and draw with us.I see you are now 6/1 against the drop.Well done lads.

Optimistic but getting something at Newcastle will be tough. Vital we beat Rangers and get something at Norwich. I'll be happy with 4.

given our recent results, I predict 0-0 or 1-1 for saints vs norwich
there wasn't much between us at St Marys although you have improved since then

We're not completely out of the woods yet!

If you play at that level you did that night, then we will win. However, having said that, I also think it will be a draw. I like going to Carrow Road, it's a great venue.

Just a tad<laugh>

it doesn't seem that long ago but it was the end of November!
the form we are on, and off the back of a win against a top team, you are more likely to win than us (there's quite a bit of negativity on our board atm)
i like Saints, hope it's a fixture next season in the PL

and p.s, i hope you beat qpr soundly <ok>
