I can't believe 3 people have chosen 8 points <doh>

Somebody isn't taking this poll seriously!

Edit: 4 now...

1 point vs Newcastle, 3 points vs Norwich and in the middle we bitch slap QPR so badly that the FA award us an extra point for services to football 3+1 point. So that makes 8 points, my logic is undeniable. Did not vote for that by the way

Love this! Unfortunately it's more like to be poor old 'arry if it happens. Watched highlights of their Saturday game, he was twitching all over the place, it took me until last night to realise they have only won 2 games so far, surely it's game over now?

Considering the way we played at Loftus Road, I'm really looking forward to the reverse fixture. We're yet to truly smash anyone this season, and it could well happen against them.

4 points for me Lose at the toon, beat QPR, draw with Norwich.

I've gone for four points (and I would be more than happy with that by the way - would leave us only needing two more wins), but it really could anything (except for eight!). 0 points would not surprise me, 9 points would not surprise me.

They are three massive games though, and they do probably determine if we go into the run-in looking above us or below us. I get the feeling that we'll know one way or the other at FT vs Norwich.

Yes, but we should have got more points against Arsenal, Everton and ManU. That's the way things go. Overall, we play well and will get the points we need though not always in the games you expect. We had a terrible start which is why we are down the league...I honestly believe that we are comfortably a mid-table team.

And that is what Forest, Newcastle and West Ham thought when they went down....

The difference is that we have got a bloody good manager and a squad full of young, hungry players who more than proved they are up to the job on Saturday. Add Rickie Lambert to that and we have one of the best English strikers in the country.

That gave me a good laugh.

I've gone for 5 points. I can see us winning all our home games for the rest of the season, but draws away are acceptable.

That would give us 18 points from those home games and what a couple of points from our away games; maybe against Reading, Norwich and Swansea. That would put us on 47 points, mid-table based on last year's standings. I think the picture will be slightly more mixed, a couple of good wins away from home and picking up most of the points we'd expect at SMS.

Poch has been quoted as saying that he doesn't understand why Rickie has not been in the PL for longer...he said he has everything. Won't get any arguments from us, Mauricio...just glad Pards spotted him for us. Pardew said that Rickie would have been a top top striker if he had pace...at 31 he keeps bombing into space...think his footballing brain gives him an extra yard or two.

It's got to be written in the stars that Rickie gets his 100th goal for Saints against Newcastle.

We're far from the finished article and were fortunate to get 3 points against M City. First goal the ball was lucky to fall to Punch after Rodders totally messed up an attempt on goal, a goal keeping howler and an own goal, isn't exactly convincing. We also let in a soft goal which broke from our own corner, so the defence isn't unbreachable. We're playing well but our finishing needs to improve, and hopefully we can get at least 4 points from the next three.

What are you on? We were imperious and thoroughly deserved our win! We have been unlucky so many times this season that its good we had our good luck for once, but we truly were excellent. Don't forget we had a perfectly good Penalty not awarded us

First of all Rodriguez was well tackled when through. Secondly our performance led to the mistakes from City, we put them on the back foot and they were rattled. Are you never happy?
