Are we having trouble finding a new manager. There isn't much speculation in the press and the betting's not showing up much, which seems to imply that no money's coming in for anyone in particular. What's the problem? Is it just that there are so few managers that fit our style or don't manager want to come here. I thought it would be an ideal job. So where are all the candidates. I fear we'll end up with someone like Holloway, who I really don't want.
It wouldn't surprise me. Rodgers has agreed not to take anyway but he has good connections and they will have asked about players and will think now is a good time to get them. Could be a tough time rebuilding for next season if we don't get a new manager in soon. But we shouldn't rush the appointment - we need the best manager. I think Huw may have to fork out some good money this time.
I think we need to think about the real terms here. Brendan only went officially on Thursday. Today is Monday. And it's holiday season. If the decent managers thought that Swansea was the only club they'd come to, but Brendan was gonna stay, their phone isn't gonna be glued to their ear in Cancun. Let's just give him a few days to even think about it. Yeah, it's **** that we're going through this again, but 4 days is not, "oh my god, our chairman is soooo inept!" I'm unsettled by it all, but we are not down or out. And as for Dai, if you hit the ignore button it all doesn't seem so bad.
Dai's logic; Swansea do something well - it's all down to the board which overruled Jenkins and since then Huw has been nothing more than a puppet. Swansea do something Dai doesn't like - Huw is immediately reinstated to full dictatorial heights and every decision connected with SCFC is directly made by Huw and Huw only. That about right?
