A friend of mine had a photo taken with Chris Houghton in town on Thursday. Was definitely him, or a very convincing lookalike!

Was Reed working with the FA when Sven was appointed? Thankfully Sven has a job in China, but he'd probably join if the money is right. Apparently Yakin is set to take the Spartak Moscow job, so he may be out of the running.
I know it's unfashionable, but I'd like to see us go British with our next manager, think that somebody with knowledge of the game would be really useful in what is shaping up to be a massively tough season. I'd love to see Adkins come back, but know that i'll probably be alone in that.
Adkins wouldn't be far down my list. I like the guy, but the problem is his ability to attract the calibre of players we want.
I'd actually pretty happily take Moyes right now. We need someone that can re-build the spine of our team, I'm not convinced that someone coming in from another league is going to find it as easy as someone who has recently managed here.
Haven't seen him mentioned but Sean Dyche is creeping up the list of favourites. Done a great job at Burnley, though I'd be surprised if he left now.
I am starting to want Moyes too know. If there wasn't all this player uncertainty i would want a nice foreign import, but right now i just want someone to come in tell all the players to shut up and calm down, a big name will make that much easier ... 5 letters minimum
Moyes isn't a bad shout. His record in the premier league suggests he pretty much guarantees a mid table finish no matter which club he's at. Think its a bit unrealistic though, as surely bigger clubs will be looking at him (was linked to Newcastle a few weeks back).
Sorry but he has to work very hard somewhere else to restore his credibility after the Man U fiasco. He will not have the credibility with our players at the moment.
