Why do you think our only defeat will be to Spurs? We where holding them at WHL and only lost due to a bad refereeing decision. I would say that we are more likely to defeat by Chelsea IMO.
10 points would be a fantastic haul, very difficult to get but who knows, we might get 'shock' win or two at home but any point in the away games stops them picking up a win obviously
There could easily be a higher number of points needed for survival this season because apart from Sunderland (who are improving) every team has a chance. Palace looked like no-hopers until they got Pulis, but now they look a lot stronger. West Ham and Fulham both have the squads to pull away if they sort themselves out and the same applies to the other lower half teams. Hopefully Solskjaer won't work out for Cardiff, but I remember thinking that about Pulis.
8 points would be great. 2 wins at Sunlan and Palace. 2 draws at Norwich and at home to Soton. Anything else is a bonus. Not many points to be had at the KC from the 3 home games. Maybe a point at Cardiff.
Hard to call the games beyond Norwich as form/injuries can change things at the drop of a hat. If we're on 30 points by the end of February, I think we'd all be delighted.
My husband predicts that during this period Hull City will score their 100th Premier League goal. Currently the total stands at 95. But which match?
Four winnable away games, three tough ones at home. I'll be disappointed with anything less than 7 points. I'd like to see us pick up at least 10.
We need a point a game. The easiest clubs appear to be the away fixtures but we really need to improve our away result. Performances OK but results.......need to start winning.
City 0 v 2 Chelsea Norwich 1 v 2 City Crystal Palace 1 v 1 City City 1 v 3 Tottenham Sunderland 0 v 2 City City 1 v 1 Southampton Cardiff 2 v 0 City
Out of those games there are 4 in our mini league and 3 in the 'lucky to get anything' league even though those 3 are the ones at home. I think we'll pretty much put our relegating worries to bed after these 7 games with a 10 point return.
Sorry I just think Ole will do well. They've got a very good squad IMO and shouldn't be where they are. I think Mackay was a pretty average manager to be honest. Not to mention the fact Tan is offering him a blank chequebook. Think you and Cardiff will both finish the season strongly and in and around mid table.
He would have loved the Sunderland match Canada, as predicted by Mr King. With your Tigers goal-forecasting history, however, it is impossible to go against your selection!
I'd be going with Andy's results bar the Cardiff game, where I think we'll win. We better win away to Sunderland, it's on my birthday. (**** I probably just jinxed it)
