This would romp to the play offs ,at the very least.
Dieng
Moses Dunne Dickie Dutchman Toffolo
O'Brien/Thomas/Russell (Huddersfield) Cornick
Chair
Willock
Adebajo

other possibilities. Wilkes/Lewis Potter (Hull
Bannan (better than Johansen).
Pace you and firepower. without which we are going nowhere.

precisely!
If it were me, i would pay off Austin and Johansen's contracts so disappointing have they been.
only one over 30 YO allowed in the squad who is not a GK!

To attract players you have to be able to either, pay them more than they get offered elsewhere or show the ambition of a club battling for promotion. Unfortunately for us and many clubs in this division, that battle is getting harder every season. Parachute payments (if managed correctly) can enable a relegated team to bounce straight back up. Its no suprise that Fulham have romped the league, followed by Bournmouth. Next season i fully expect 2 of the 3 relegated teams from the Prem to do exactly the same and so on and so on.

Which is exactly why it's so criminal that we ****ed up our chance of the play offs.

Bit harsh to leave Field out imo.

I also think Dozzell is one of those players we need to be patient with and not judge until he has another 20-30 games under his belt at this level.

Obviously Amos is missing and I'm assuming that is oversight only as no one would deliberately miss him out.

I still believe something happened in that last week of the window that's f*cked our season, you don't go from challenging for automatic promotion to relegation form just like that. I'm convinced something went off between Sir Les and MW and the fallout and crap loans did for us. I've no confidence we'll be challenging next season unless one or other goes and it won't be Sir Les...

True, but Luton have shown it can be done and Huddersfield too with the right acquisitions and loan deals. Possibly more astute managers aswell, recruitment is key and we brought in far too many old crocks and has beens , I won't even mention the January dealings ! Oops

I'd take Field over most other Championship holding midfielders.

Yes.
In due course we may find out what mysteries caused that terrible turnaround.
