Wouldn't that be better with amber stripes instead of white on the shoulders? It's funny, but I disliked the pinstriped shirts for the same reason you dislike the thick stripes. Pin stripe just makes me think late 80s/early 90s low class yuppies with massive bricks for mobile phones or in more modern settings of dodgy used car dealers.
