I will probably be completely wrong but my thinking is not as crazy as you may think. Leicester are being completely underestimated again by everyone. I think they will be out of the CL quickly and will be able to concentrate on the league again. They have kept their 2 key players, everyone raved on about Kante but for me Drinkwater was their stand out midfielder. They have a years experience. The others are playing catch up, Pep is inexperienced in the Premier league and will have trouble with all the egos there. Jose will have issues at Man Utd, I think he will struggle again. Spurs and Arsenal will be good next season but It think both will have decent CL runs.

Everton have no CL to deal with, look how well their manager did with Southampton, he now has money to spend and some good players already. They will surprise a lot of people, they just had a bad season last time out.

Can't see a Pulis team being relegated tbh mate. It's almost a gimme that they'll end the season on around the 40 point mark. Don't quote me on that tho <laugh>

Like us they haven't strengthened enough. I go on more than the manager in charge. They've got a poor squad like us. At this moment in time I'd say them, Boro or us for that final relegation places. Weak squads mate. Managers can only work with the quality they've got at their disposal.

Agreed but some managers have a knack of getting the best out of what they've got.

What's your logic behind Jose and Pep struggling? Just a wild guess or have you got any basis to it?

True but continuity is never a given. Look at Martínez, for nearly a decade he kept Wigan up by the skin of their teeth. People said the same about him as you're saying about Pulis but eventually they went down. Hang around the relegation places long enough, sooner or later you'll go down. That could very well aply to us and WBA especially with the lack of business from both clubs.

I read Zlatans book recently. Regarding Pep, he struggled with players who had big egos and who did not confirm to the young boy who had grown up with the club. Zlatan goes into a lot of detail i his book. I played football with Jordan Stewart a few years ago. He was training at city at the time when he was in between clubs. He explained the environment at city was a very disconnected one. The players did not really socialise and were like robots. They were also all very self centered. Its not imo the environment that Pep will be able to turn around over night, its going to take him time. Like I said I could be wrong but thats my thinking.

On Man Utd, Jose has a big task ahead of him, you have an undoubted talent in Rashford, this is going to cause a major headache if he does well. As soon as you drop players like Rooney and Zlatan you are going to have unrest. Jose showed he could not control the Chelsea dressing room last season and I think he will struggle again this season. Unlike at Chelsea Utd fans expect youth to be given a chance and that's going to put more pressure on him. I think he will get it right but it will take time and maybe a season to get rid of some players and bring others in.

Personally I think the clubs have the wrong managers. Jose would be better at City as they are more like Chelsea and Pep would be better at Man Utd because he likes managing clubs focused on young players who have come through the youth system.

What do I know though, I could be completely wrong, it's just my opinion. Neither Man City or Man Utd have got it right over the last 12 months and I don't see that changing over night.

You think Man U should drop Zaltan before he kicks a ball? <confused> Why do you think Rooney causes unrest? He come across fiercely determined and professional to me.

Fair enough I hope you're right about City. Pep at United would be terrible though, he inherited a club at The Nou Camp that Van Gaal had laid foundations of years before, it wasn't Pep's 'philosophy' he tinkered with a system that LVG had started and again he repeated that at Bayern, he produced less there than his predecessor Heynkes, because he didn't use that team to its strengths. We certainly wouldn't want possession tiki taka ****e here, the United way is fast attacking football created by Busby and perfected by Fergie, Pep would absolutely destroy that.

Mourinho could flop spectacularly but I'd be surprised to see him lose the players like at Chelsea, the noises coming out of the club seem like he's got the players fired up, what happens when selections start making players spit their dummies out generally gets nipped in the bud very quickly at this club, but we'll see, I can't wait for Sunday, I think we'll bang Leicester like a village bike.

You have miss understood me, I think it will become an issue into the season as Rashford outscores Zlatan from the bench. There will be a clamour for him to start games. I am the biggest Zlatan fan in the world, I think the bloke has had an incredible career but I just think Rashford has got something and Zlatan has come here a couple of years too late.

I have been saying Rooney is finished as a striker for years.

Ah I get you. I think Zaltan will eat this league for breakfast. Can't believe he hasn't played here earlier.
