Heard that they're keeping the pink kit as third choice - not confirmed though...

I like the new kit. The absence of red detailing is very welcome as far as I am concerned. Pity about the nasty sponsor logo though and the fact it’s another gambling business.

I really liked the Dry World kits of a few years ago, aside from odd Dry World logo. The away light blue hoops was particularly good.

Am I alone in liking the green and gold (Lotus/Caterham) away kit of 5-6 years back too?

They are contracted to the kit supplier I am guessing and bet stock and manufacturing stocks and locations etc are left to to the third party

Promotional items worldwide I deal with are very slack and impossible at times to get any of your designs correct ... I am always rejecting stuff I have designed from coffee mugs to full graphic wraps 9/10 the people employed third party haven’t a clue ... recently had a load of Nationwide Building Society merchandise delivered with a squashed up logo

I tell you it’s a continuous war for any designer to get exactly what you want . If they ask for blue and white hoops then they can ask or red and black hoops when the **** does a tint of turquoise come from

These new shirts are very poor how the logo is placed as for the club badge in gold on that colour is very stupid how it got produced I know not
Whoever designed it or made the design decision is disgraceful

I showed them all how the logos etc are important especially in ration to shirt size etc it’s basic stuff and they looked at me as if they didn’t understand what role an art director has. I know that these are very important it’s my field

No one takes responsibility nowadays in the corporate culture sick to death with that

It’s about profit and I am guessing our kit is made from orphan’s tears so bollocks to the old fat ****s who waste their money on them imo

A qpr shirt both home and away should carry a clear message each season that’s the number one item on a corporate brand in football . Can anyone on here list the failures we have had? They are more than the successes I tell you all

Get the design fundamentals right the parameters first then you can tweak the designs but within guidelines... I doubt if QPR have any

From everything from a pen to a club coat the style has to be approved at every stage

Muppets and amateurs imo and yes I could do a better job in all media formats but sadly I prefer to look and the shirt produced and laugh . West London club everything there for the taking in terms of quality and seriously they do t seem to care

    Bollocks

Yes it seems you have very little taste
I agree about the red that’s just trimming
We have pink shirts and pirate hoops all disasters imo Dryworld was another complete waste of time as they are fashion brand who were trying to become Nike overnight I bet we dropped them because of their nutty virals made to make a noise

    Rubbish

Design sucks. The colour for the away kit i don't mind. Even the pink one, but it at least it looked like a football top, not some tacky Fred Perry shirt. As for the gold lettering.....
This season is the first in which i will not purchase the kit home or away.

Dryworld was formed specifically as a specialist for athletic apparel, it’s not a fashion brand.

Of course, the kit design will always be subjective. Aside from the ghastly Nike thin stripes and the kit with the horrible block on the back, the home kits are usually wholly recognisable as QPR.

I see that the new kit thread is on its 4th page and is quite emotive. Mainly due to the lack of other QPR topics to discuss, I will add my tuppence.

I think that the home shirt is "ok" as most importantly, it does have wide hoops so it looks like an R's shirt should look (in my opinion). As I like Polo shirts then I like the collar, but that is a matter of my personal taste and I seem to be in a minority on this. The away kit is acceptable, but does not have any QPR identity.

This does not mean that the shirts may not be improved in my opinion. Regarding the home shirt, the sponsor logo name seems to be badly formated and I would have centrered it. As for the away kit, I would prefer some form of hoops to keep our QPR identity. The red and black (DTM) hoops are a classic, but they may be another combination of colours. Even this away kit could have has the impression of hoops by shading.

At the end of the day, it is very much a question of personal taste and I am sure that we will all have different preferences. If I could have my way, then I would have a classical wide hooped home shirt, the red and black DTM hooped shirt for the away kit, and I would not change them each year. This certainly would not be favourable by the marketing department.
