QPR’s new kits for the 2018/19 season have been unveiled – and will be available to purchase in-store and through mail order from tomorrow (Saturday).

The unique designs have been created through a collaborative creative process between the club and our kit supplier, Erreà.

The home shirt could be described as a ‘classic with a twist’. It has the broad blue and white hoops that R’s fans expect but with an added touch of colour, with the red sleeve piping and three-colour collar and cuffs.

In addition, the Royal Blue hoops contain a tonal pinstripe effect which is as subtle as it is effective.

Combine all that with Erreà’s renowned Mundial fabric and you have a shirt for R’s fans to be proud of.

The away shirt reflects the design of the home but in Fuscia Pink, with the famous hoops being created by groups of darker pink stripes.

The tricolor trims have once again been added, which give both shirts a retro feel and, as with the home shirt, the detailing on the inside of the collar adds an extra level of quality to an already perfectly-tailored shirt.

New QPR boss Steve McClaren told www.qpr.co.uk: “The QPR home kit is so iconic in English football. It’s a very recognisable and famous strip, and it has a real tradition about it.

“I really like the kits for next season, home and away.

“My job and the job of my staff and players is to do all we can to make sure that these are successful kits. That’s what we will be putting all our efforts into.”

Fabrizio Taddei, Erreà’s Head of Pro Clubs Department, added: “We truly hope the fans will appreciate these new kits, the work and attention to detail that has gone into them, and will enjoy wearing them next season as much as we have enjoyed producing them.”

The kits will go on sale in the QPR Superstore from 10:00 am tomorrow (Saturday) with QPR players Joe Lumley, Ebere Eze, Ilias Chair, Aramide Oteh and Osman Kakay all set to be in attendance. For those of you who can’t get along, don’t worry – you can purchase yours through mail order.

I like the colour of the pink shirt but agree who would want to buy that? Should have been Denis the Menace. I bet they bring out another design around Christmas.

So having said I didn't like the pink shirt...I actually have changed my mind. I actually like it a lot.

I also appreciate they have not brought out a third shirt. Think of the uproar if they had as nothing clashes with the away shirt...so why would we want a 3rd shirt, except to extract more money out of the fans. So well done QPR again, you did not take that option.

I will buy the away shirt!

1. I can’t name any of the players modelling the shirts without guessing
2. If McClaren thinks his job is to ‘make sure these are successful kits’ that’s an interesting new take on football management
3. The kits look fine to me.

Come on Stan, you could/should do better than that :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Luke, Darnell and Ryan donning the home shirt, and Bright, Aramide and Ilias wearing the pink beauty :emoticon-0172-mooni

Ok, I'll admit I had to look up Oteh. Thought his name was Sam.

Even the players look bored sh!tless.

Seriously, who is going to buy this shirt?

The Stevie Wonder project?
The Ray Charles Vision Parade?
Fact is, no one person will pay full price for this marketing stuff up.
Just give us fans, the real deal.
Maybe id you bothered to mix it with the folks on the ground, you would get the picture.

The home kit is fine to me, and an improvement (slightly) on last year. I'm going to miss the Denice the Menace away kit, but I rather like the new one. I expect it to get a lot of stick from opposition fans, though. Maybe it's a team building and solidarity thing from Schteeeve.

Pinched before they made the panda printers
Only in acton
Kids sizes don't have the sponser anyway :emoticon-0143-smirk

By the way, is anyone else thinking that they could have at least ironed them before the photoshoot? Look at those creases on the home kit!

They probably would have melted.

I love the new training kits. What is it about training kits being good all of a sudden. Impossible to buy the England one unless a crazy price off eBay

Brilliant kits, both of them! Will definitely get the home one. Might sneak an away shirt as well, it's got a 'cult' potential to it.

Here in Oz, it gives me the potential to be bashed. Well, it would of a few years back.
Now, at the very least, l’d cop a bagging.

I’ll think l’ll play it safe and stick with my shirt from a couple of seasons ago.

I’m QPR through and through and to me, the only shirt relevant is the blue & white hoops.

For others, to each their own.
