As I said earlier I am in two minds about letting Didier go. On his day he's still one of the best strikers in the world and his power and presence can still terrify defenders and if we really need a goal he's someone that can come up with the goods. I am sure AVB could squeeze a couple of seasons out of him and I would be more than happy for him to stay. I always remember that performance against the scousers when he single handedly destroyed them even if he didn't score in that 4-1 drubbing and his performances against Arsenal will always be a high point. I reckon Senderos still wakes up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night after having nightmares about Drogba!

He's cut down on the diving, but he still has at least one rolling around for 5 minutes like he's been shot per game and that really gets me, especially when he's still on the ground and we have the ball. He's moaned about the fact he didn't want to join us and often talked about moving on so it seems funny now that we may see him surplus to requirements and it will be us asking for him to leave. I hope he can get used to less game time and put his all into the last couple of seasons and he does stay, but if he does go please let it be back to France as I would hate to have to come up against him.

With Drogba, I think that would most certainly be the case.

I hope, rather than expect, us to land him (assuming you are in a mind to sell, of course). I don't think it'll be down to wage demands, because he cannot expect to be a big roller at 33; but I do think he may want to end his career at a club that's playing CL footy. I think there are plenty of clubs in Europe who would snap your hands off for him.

I think that we would only sell him to Spurs if he was part of a deal that saw Modric come the other way, and I'm not sure that Levy or the Spurs fans would be to happy about that to be honest.

A season long deal with the option for another year at Real, Inter, AC Milan and maybe Marseille if they can get the funds to pay his wages would be more likely...maybe even Galatasaray?
