I think we`ll do ok in League 2 next season. Rather be in amongst the playoff contenders there than fighting the drop in League 1 TBH. :-)

mid table for the gas next season, looks to me like you need a complete re-build of the team before you challenge and try and escape league 2, otherwise the pain you feel right now will return time and time again. If it help's Lee Jhonson may be going cheap??

We'll get better crowds than most of this season IF we are challenging at the top of League 2.

Season ticket sales will go up IF we get the right manager and players in over the summer.

Not as big a drop in League money as Champ to League 1 and we'll make the difference up IF we have any sort of a cup run.

The Southwest Stand will not be needed IF we start work on the new stadium.

Ever the optimist! :emoticon-0100-smile

Yeah but Chris you and the other band of dweebs said we'll be swapping places next year, the only team you're swapping places with is Chesterfield, Bury and Wycombe.

Oh and swapping places with Bath next year iswell :)

It's going to be a tough season. We'll have a load of new players, and we'll be most teams' cup final - they'll all be out to beat us. If we make the top half we'll be doing well.

I hope I'm wrong, but the experience last time we were down there was horrible. We never challenged for the top until our late run got us into the playoffs, and then we never looked back.

Quote of the century, and you said we're deluded.

But we are a bigger club than you as well Lan. That's what happens when a club with 127 years behind them creates. A club with less than 30 is nothing to shout about you see :)

there is much wummery here from trashton, but a lot of common sense from the gas, like finishing mid table, consolidation etc. 3 wins and the gas will be mid table. if you like it is another wake up call, and most sensible gasheads foresaw a difficult season ahead as it is proving to be. funny enough i did not trawl through pages of past pap but alighted on this page. fate indeed! and it may be of help
