Assuming we are relegated, what level of players would we need to get back up. Are all the players we have below League 2 standard?

Can we go through the squad and assess their standard in terms of League standing. I've had a go at some but, based on our league performance I must be over estimating some and would be interested in the views of others, especially those who have seen them actually playing; I haven't had that privilege <whistle>

I didn't know any Sunday Leagues so I left that one blank

Matt Bloomfield - L2 (but I don't think he would look out of place in either conference or L1, he just seems to fit in!)

Jesse Kewley-Graham - conference south (but still young, so may get better)
Max Kretzschmar - championship for future, about L1/2 now
Sam Togwell - gone!

Dean Morgan - L1 when he can be bothered, conference south if not

Anthony Jeffrey - seen very little but not been impressed

Seems like, with a little pruning, we could do all right with the squad we have and, if we are looking like going back up, get some decent players in to ensure we do go up and stay up. If necessary, replace the deadwood with some promising and enthusiastic youngsters who could grow into at least L2 players

ps we could do with a new cb what's Anthony Stewart like?
 
Put it this way brb. He's not one we would want to lose.
 
kuffour would be great in the conference ;)

in all seriousness, if you do go down, this will be another club on kuffours long list of clubs who has got relegated with. he must be the most jinxed player!
 
Can't really say Jack as I only listen to commentaries, but it sounds like his first touch lets him down a lot.
 
And especially his final which, only too often, is also his first.
 
This is where I expect the present squad to be plying their trade next season based on how they have done this season I will use no 1 to 6 to represent prem to con n/s and anyone with a 4 or 5 by there name could still be with us next season apart from Spring and Kuffour

I sent in my CV. I guaranteed to score more goals than Kuffour. They wrote back asking "How many more". I'm considering my response.

If we take out the possible retirees and on loan that would leave us with:

1 goalie
1 defender
4 midfielders
6 strikers

That could explain why we haven't won many games
