What will happen to our own backroom staff?
I think Steve Wigley turned down a chance to work with England's football team at the Olympics, wanting to help prepare City for next season.
    What happens next with him?

If Wigs goes then i can see a mass exodus. Nick said the players loved being coached / trained by Wigs. So hopefully Nicks backroom team will stay.

Conner is the No.2 @ Wolvers to the Norwegian chap. Well he is as things stand.

Looking ahead to next season opening fixtures i would like us to start with a home game against Charlton Athletic(they will fill the away end being the first game) on the 18th August. Then an away game @ Cardiff City on saturday 25th and a home game with say Bristol City on B/H monday 27th August. A steady start @ home and Cardiff fits in well with my plans for that weekend.

FA Charity Shield Game in August is between Manchester City and Chelsea.

Hull City are a seeded team for the 1st and 2nd Rounds of the Carling Cup. So expect another Macclesfield type draw in round one for us.

Round 2 is when the PL non european involved clubs join in. If we get through then we would avoid a PL club in Rd.2.

Oh bollocks, they should get rid of the seeding in the 2nd Round. Maybe keep it regional for 2 Rounds instead of just 1 if they want to boost gates but give everyone the opportunity of a decent crowd. We know if we're at home we'll get **** gates for it where if we could get drawn against someone like M'boro or Leeds it might actually result in some interest for people, and surely Bury vs Shrewsbury for the chance to play Man U is more exciting for fans out that way than Bury vs Hull City. (My positivity for the principle of the cups coming from us not yet having declared we're going to have a wafer thin squad again next season).
