You could play a few ringers. No one would know. Parc-y-scarlets looking in good nick. Nice damp evening to keep the ball zipping about. Heard of salt marsh lamb, but not sure about sheep on the beach. Remember a couple teams we used to play rugby against in the bristol area where one of their pre match tasks was to clear the dog **** off the pitch. Luckily they were a few divisions below us so it was only the odd cup game.
Strady was demolished about 10 years ago when they built parc-y-scarlets. A lot of mistakes being made by both sides, but entertaining enough, despite the lack of sheep.
Can't remember ever seeing anything quite as one sided as that. 6-0 and it should have been a lot more. Got terribly drunk at Llanelli RFC back in the day. They used to feed me drink that to this day I don't know the ingredients. All I know is I couldn't talk after a couple of them. They called it the "Llanelli Lip Stiffener"
There were a few young ladies there who could perform a similar stiffening feat on another part of the body and after a few of those beers you didn't know or care what they looked like.
I feel that have to defend the honour of the ladies in Llanelli here .... you were obviously on the dark side of town (NOT Stradey where I live btw) Now let's discuss 'Palais de Danse' from where I've been put on a course of anti biotics after almost every visit
That would be rohypnol Clingo .... Always keep your drinks in your hands in rugby clubs... the rugger buggers swing three ways.
Does exactly what it says on the tin.... As long as you enjoyed your visit here then it did it's job you are always welcome
Can't ever remember getting out of Llanelli in any fit state. The Barbican and Moonraker in the 80's is now coming to mind.
You're not as old as you make out ... I was a life member of both venues back in the day and I'm 60 next month
Oh I'm very old. Just never came to terms with it. Always wanted to act my age but I couldn't count that far.
