Wow it's that bad! Sounds like he's a dead man walking if he's lost the supporters?

The position you're in reminds me of us at the same time last season. We were still fully behind warnock, mainly because of the promotion. Our championship players were coping, just. Our results were better.....and then it all fell apart. Sentiment can change very quickly.

All things considered, we will struggle to beat you. I don't think you have much to worry about, unless we get a new manager.

That's not likely though after a vote of coinfidence:biggrin:

Seriously though are the fans just anti Hughes or do you dislike the Chairman as well?

Its all about the manager more people will go against the chairman the longer he goes on without sacking him.

Id rather you get 1 or 3 points next week just to get rid of Hughes.

Or,of course, next Saturday, inspired by the sight of the Irish Rs flag, could be the day that it clicks.......it's going to happen.

Don't think that will happen though. We will stick with Nigel and sounds like you have a stubborn Chairman.

IMO the key thing struggling clubs need is the ability to score goals, we can't you can ! All the bottom 10 side will leaks goals but if you can score a few and put 11 men behind the ball you'll stand a chance.

This game as said will the the survival game for MH, if we lose there may be a silver lining of MH going and to be honest I can see you winning or rather I can't see us winning.

The difference is our manager is the problem in our case, your DOF and chairman are the problem and not the manager so we could improve after a change while I dont think it would make any difference in your case.

Its not stubborness, hes the 9th best paid manager in world football so it will cost a fortune to sack him.

I'd love us to win for all the Irish lads coming over.
Trouble is....that may just prolong the agony with Hughes.....or maybe, just maybe it will give the players the confidence they need?

How about being 3-0 down at HT and TF sacks him on the spot, the players go out in the 2nd half without a manager and score 5.

It happened at sheff u when we spanked them 3 nil with 3 goals after 25 mins and McCabe sacked Blackwell at half time

It won't happen with us though Swiss Tony's convinced it's just bad luck and the odd error made from time to time.....

I know, a while back it was said some "top level" people at LR wanted Hughes sacked but TF was against it, that can only mean Bhatia, Rigg and Beard. They were right.

Bhatia's staying away from games. When I look back at how enthusiastic he was in our Championship winning year - he never missed a game - it tells a story...

But say if you do beat us, would that start to change your view to a more optimistic one about Hughes? I'm also sure it would be the same about our manager as more of us will lose faith in him if we do lose. But who ever does lose the manager will get fired that's like a 90% given.

I think Nigel is safe until xmas whatever the result on Saturday. The fans and players are united behind him. A couple of wins and the world will look a different place. Souns like you just want MH out!
