Remember back to when Bruce came in? We all knew what was coming but we were prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt in the hope that the club was the right fit for him and vice versa.

Not overly excited by Howe and he was way down my list of preferred choices but he’s a step up for sure from Bruce. If we’re prepared to give Bruce the benefit of the doubt then I’m pretty sure as **** that the bast majority of the fans will do the same for Howe. We’re not comparing apples with apples anymore now that Ashley has gone so I’m quietly excited at the fact that changes are happening.

Terrace song in the style of Sherbet's Howzat:

Howe Howe Howe Howzat!
He joined the toon to shoot the moon
Howzat!

If he can change these players' mindset from Bruce's, "try not to lose the game" to a , "try to win the game", then I'll be pretty happy.

You can't win if don't try to win.

Get behind him, and what will be, will be!

I'm certain he try and go after the opposition. He wants to play high up on the pitch. I'd say in theory he's quite Klopp like in his approach but obviously you are seriously limited by the playing resources you have available when playing that way. We were 100% down playing Bruce Ball. At least I think now if we do get relegated we will go down punching. I'm hoping Schar will be back in as he tries to get us up the pitch. I think him and Bruce had obviously fallen out.

Had a look at Howes transfers at Bournemouth…..he did alright, Lewis Cook, Tyrone Mings, Josh King, Ramsdale, Ake, Begovic, Brooks, Lerma, Danjuma who happens to be one of Emery’s star players at Villarreal.

He did spunk £34m on Solanke and Ibe, those crafty scousers ****ed him over

Liverpool board of very happy with this appointment. We’re already packing Origi and some random youths bags now for £50m transfer <ok>

I'd take Origi tbh, we only have one striker atm who is injured most of the time.

Tbf with a proper run of games he might be alright. He’ll always be a cult hero for us but when he plays he just never seems to put 100% effort in but must be hard knowing that he’s unlikely to ever break into the front 3 long term. Sure he’d score 10 goals a season somewhere though.

And yeah I'm happy with this, we have to build bottom up, and an English manager with Prem experience is in theory a good idea. Unlike Pardew, McClaren, Bruce and all the other knackers, his career isn't full of sackings and relegations, and he did an outstanding job at Bournemouth.

It ain't Guardiola, but it sure as hell ain't Bruce either. I'll support Howe.

That's the thing, whenever I see him play he always comes off the bench and scores vital goals to win games. It's a shame your front 3 basically means he never gets a look in as a starter.

Apparently we're sorting out Jason Tindalls paperwork for him to join as Howes number 2. I thought Jones was here until January.
