They still have their never ending Mags thread on their board, talk about living free in their minds.

I used to have fun spinning them around when they tried to form a clique in the Warm Glow thread, but they've done a runner from there now.

Yes they're using it as a relief mechanism

They all go on there for a therapy session in which they play it down and read eachothers negative views on nufc along with their mental gymnastics

It's soothing for them to know they're not alone in their search for positives but ultimately its because they're struggling.

All I see is the reality ie tears

It's actually quite simple.. If it was the other way around I know I'd be pretending I would'nt want these owners and hiding behind human rights issues in Saudi Arabia.

It would be quite simply your only option to do that..

You'd know the truth, but you'd never admit it.

TBF we have been their ONLY source of conversation since god knows when.

They are such a cesspit of a club and have always been so far beneath us that the only distraction from their ongoing misery is to try to find fault with us.

There's always been a gaping chasm of quality between us, and now the distance has been magnified exponentially.

They're now completely defeated! All that remains is the slaughter

Di Matteo was obviously never the flash big name that Abramovich wants to show off his club as the biggest in the world, he was never anything other than someone who filled in for a few months when needed. Ditto Lampard, RA only went for him cos no one else was available.

Pretty much, he was only meant to be a stop gap, Rafa was actually approached in the summer to takeover at Chelsea on a 2 year deal, but because RDM won the champions league, Roman felt pressured in to keeping him on, at the first sight of a collapse, he got rid and brought in Rafa as was the plan. Roman wanted to keep Rafa on longer but due to the Backlash he received from the fans he went back to Mourinho. Rafa and Roman are still on good terms to this day, in fact Roman gave a letter of recommendation to the Everton board to sign Rafa.

I love you man!! I hope you stay here forever

Ideally, but I don't think it will happen.

At this point I'm not too sure who would be best.

Do we want a young manager who is going to be developing their own career alongside the club such as a Gerrard.

Do we want someone old and wise to steer us clear of relegation. Such as a Pulis, but then won't be able to take us to the next level, so we search again in the summer.

I agree on both. Just a bone chucked to both former players. Both actually did pretty decent jobs all told though. Sarri is another example where people question his ability and time at Chelsea. He won the Europa League and finished 3rd (first venture into CL for few years). He only decided to leave because he was homesick (since admitted it was a mistake). Roman has always been demanding and trigger happy.

It just makes me laugh that Rafa's time is for some reason lauded when all he really did is finish off what Di Matteo was already achieving. Rafa lives a charmed life for me with fans. Certainly our fans. His record for the last 10 years or so, there is nothing ground breaking there. Real Madrid was a failure. Inter was a failure. China was a failure. Napoli he did a good job, but both Mazarri and Sarri did better with less money. Newcastle he did a good solid job, but didn't pull up any trees as Bruce proved. Chelsea he did a good short term job but nothing spectacular as proven by Di Matteo. Then you're back to Liverpool. The ups and down would be more palatable if he was an entertaining coach. But his teams are drab and boring. I suppose the really telling thing is that the top clubs stopped being interested in him over a longer period after Real Madrid was so poor. I think they all realised he's just not a modern coach.

I'm really enjoying getting off on the ones saying " I'd rather be where we are than have those owners"

Haha that's when you know a person is utterly defeated

Its pathetic. Just man up and say you're gutted and bitter we are so rich. The mackems are easily the worst. Convincing themselves their moral compass tells them they'd rather be in League One. **** off man you daft gets. You cheered a ****.

Yeah it's the only branch they could grab onto and it's actually pretty disgusting to use that card.

If they've been voicing concerns before the nufc takeover fair enough, but the ones that haven't are being immoral

Koeman did incredible at Saints

Bit of an outlier in his career though. Something clicked there that did no where else. The only other one I can recall him doing ok was Feyenoord.

Ajax was poor, Benfica was poor, Alkmaar was poor, Barca was poor, Everton was poor, Valencia was poor, PSV was poor. Its telling he is a bit of a Bruce with no clear coaching style or set up.

Bloke has lived on his playing reputation. Mind he was some ****ing player.
