The best part is that they're still in the build up to the suffering they're going to endure over the next decade.

They've took the piss and had their fun.

The boots on the other foot now mother ****ers

You know what, **** him! We’ve put up with his dross football, ****ty tactics (if you can call them that) and general ****-aboutery for 2 years now…which for the most part, save for a handful of games he’s escaped the direct wrath of the fans thanks to COVID! He’s the luckiest **** on the planet in my book and that’s even before he ****s off into the sunset with £8m tucked in his sky rocket! He came in under no illusions that he wasn’t everyone’s (read anyones for that) cup of tea and nowhere near 1st choice for the position. He knew it was a big job with big expectations and I’m not talking about trophies here and if he wasn’t up to the job he shouldn’t have taken it or at least had the balls to walk away long before now. The fact is that he hasn’t and he’s had his arse saved by the team that Rafa put together which he has slowly dismantled over time, and then again by a couple of decent signings which came good (Wilson/Willock) last season coupled with Jones coming in. This is by no means an achievement due to his managerial skills in any way shape or form….again he got ****ing lucky and we could have so easily have been in the fizzy pop league this season! So thanks for the last 2 years cabbage heed, it’s been absolutely ****ing woeful but slightly papered over and somewhat overshadowed by the preceding 12 years of your former gaffers tenure as owner! I’m sure you’ll have fun in your next gig at Derby when he takes over there and calls you up and we’ll hopefully see you back at SJP again at some point in the not too distant future in the opposite dugout and you can see some proper football being played in the Championship

fixed <ok>

Didn't you lot boo rafa for no reason

Chased him out despite doing well
Rafa wasn't chased out, went to China for £10m and brought that other mercenary Rondon with him for a project, nothing to do with money and funny enough both are back for another project with Everton.

Now that Bruce has gone it will be interesting to see which managers pipe up who previously had either kept quiet or distanced themselves before now. Managers (working or not) are always reluctant to comment out of respect for the bloke currently in the job but now that has been taken care of I'm sure there'll be a few chucking their hats in the ring now.

What we do next will be a big indicator of our new owners intentions I reckon. Fonseca/Favre will not come if there's the slightest chance of us being relegated in my opinion so they will have to be given assurances of having a **** tonne of money to spend in January to drag us out of the mire....which is more than achievable. Anything else (such as Howe) for me is a short term appointment with the aim of keeping us up with "some" money to spend in Jan to ensure our PL status.

I reckon it's gonna be either Fonseca or Favre but this may well depend of course on whether they want to bring a DoF or Sporting Director in first but I'm pretty sure they'll have candidates lined up for that position as well.

Gerard was heard blasting out Jimmy Nail from his car earlier today, #toonbound

Drifted a little to evens with bet victor. Might be a twist in this yet.

Seen somewhere he doesn't like working under DOF's and that's possibly a sticking point. I have no clue if this is true or not.

I will say the thought of us playing out of defence at this moment in time terrifies me.

This concept of having a list of targets and holding interviews with candidates is a new thing. We normally give whichever poor ****er gets tricked over the threshold first the job.

Personally Favre is the one who sticks out for me, has a great track record and has history of dragging teams out of relegation trouble. Plays good football and makes his teams defensively tough, could be the perfect guy to get the project off the ground. Only negative is we can kiss goodbye to Max if he takes over.

ASM came out 2 days ago saying this story was all bullshit.
