I'm not understanding a lot of the hate on here for some of the managers mentioned.

I get that some are the current trendy thing but Ho'way man we currently have Bruce. So why do people have issues with the following? Genuine question as I must be missing something.

Howe - One bad year with Bournemouth - Not Liverpool, City, Chelsea or Arsenal - Bournemouth.

Lampard - Did alright with Derby, brought some youngsters through at Chelsea under a transfer embargo - What's up with him? I may be missing something.

Gerrard - Okay he's only managed in Scotland but same could be said about Sir Alex Ferguson prior to Man Utd.

Wilder - Did alright at first with Sheff Utd - then it went to ****.

Rodgers - Came close with Liverpool, won the title in a one horse race in Scotland, won FA Cup with Leicester.

Zidane - Man won the Champs League and has a legendary status in the game.
In fairness to Ferguson the Scottish 1st division standard was not a million miles from the old English 1st division plus he won in Europe.

I would take ****ing Shola at this point. Useless **** has spoilt a well paid for banging hangover that’s already kicked in. Fat ****

I watches Bruce during that interim, he spent the entire time barking at Manq, doing all these hand motions.

There was absolutely no one listening to him

Fonseca came in to what I call meaningless short odds of around 5/1. What I mean is, that's based on little more than paper talk - when one of the rags suggested the owners would only look at jobless managers, Fonseca moved in but not to any meaningful odds as if insider knowledge was in play.

Favre has moved back in a little based on the same story, so the top 3 favs for the role are all out of work. Means the media have no clue either but, worryingly, I'd suggest that the owners have no idea either. I think one of the better journo's - Caulkin maybe? - said they have no interest in Lampard, as he has neither experience nor defensive nous. Fonseca isn't very organised either.

The fact nobody has a clue, including the owners, now that's a huge concern. For me, we need to survive now. I don't know how deep the pockets are now; I suspect it might be a challenge to get access to decent funding, but for me I'd only be looking at Jose Mourinho or Rafa Benitez. If it cost £10-20m to get them out of their contract and then £10m a year, then do it. The Everton one might be tougher to do, but the fans are never going to warm to him - they were booing him despite losing for just the second time this season. Only Moshiri knows what's going on.

Roma are 4th and could end next weekend in 7th.

I think anything else is a risk, from Favre to Garcia to AVB. But the biggest risk is keeping Bruce.

Right. I’ve just poster on the sack Bruce thread.

And I’m going to tell you who I’ve heard is going to take over and people are not going to like it.

It’s going to be Gerrard!
