The only issue with Rafa coming home is the media will have a field day if their boy Bruce is sacked.

Hmm Rafa has been replying to quite a few NUFC fans on Instagram. Mainly about dogs, but still. He hasn't done that for the last 18 months.

Can't see it TBH,why pay someone £6m when he already has someone doing the same job if not better on £1m?

If we pay any money to this fat waiter to come bore the pants off us again, I think it’s the closest Mike will get to breaking me.

What the **** is wrong with people? Do they not want to be entertained? <laugh> It’s absolute lunacy. Just get a manager who wants to play footy. That’ll do me.

I'd go for Russell Crowe in a flash.

This is my thoughts. Thanks Rafa he did his job and did it well. But under a takeover we need to progress and the style of football needs to progress also.

It will mean a complete makeover.

Can’t help but wonder why Poch hasn’t taken a job yet. I’m torn between he’s waiting for us or he wants the Manu job?

His agent met with PIF reps when we thought we was close to a takeover and the talks apparently broke down as his demands were said to be unreasonable.

He'll be waiting for Man Utd or Real Madrid.

Poch is clearly a better option, but without takeover money he wouldn't be an option. I like him and he's a from great schooling with Bielsa. I don't know what happened at Spurs and why he couldn't tkae that final step, but the guys doing his recruitment were not great in his latter days. Still had a good side though, so maybe it just went stale?

Personally if we were taken over my preference would be Marcelo Gallardo as I've always said. I assume he's only not in Europe out of choice given his record. Aside from any takeover which lets face it, is still pie in the sky, then just any manager with a good track record of playing football as it should be played, with a bit of a modern outlook.

Bruce is here for as long as Ashley is sadly

Sadly I agree. I just don't think he sees anything other than relegation as a problem. If you survive then you've done the job haven't you? Sums up his time at the club. No ambition, no funds, no modern thinking, head bobbing above water. Its gone on too long now. I've given up on any takeovers, I'm feeling like Mike is here for the long haul due to the PL cabal.

With the sacking of Stephen Roger Bruce right around the corner, either this season or 5 seasons to come, I say we begin planning for his replacement.

It appears our recent appointments have been exclusively fat sweaty slobs stuck in the 90s, so I suggest a radical movement away from such appointments - let's have a look at some young candidates.

With a chance to topple the powerhouse of Scotland, a good Europa League record and a win percentage of 60%. Steven Gerrard, Age 40:

Below we have the man who founded the city of Bournemouth, is that true? No. But did you know about Bournemouth before Eddie Howe? No. Where even IS Bournemouth? No idea. In a few seasons he turned a League One outfit into Premier League regulars, they even played nice football. Age, 42. Currently without a job.

Former Newcastle player, national symbol and universally loved, it's former CDM, Box to Box... Right winger? Joey Barton. Who once said Zlatan has a "Big ****ing nose," grabbed his balls and waggled them at Torres and is the absolute king at winding up Mackems. Joey has transformed "little" Fleetwood Town into regular giant slayers and even promotion favourites. Age, 38.

Allardyce is a fat sweaty slob, Age 65, currently unemployed as his football made Everton fans cry

I still think Welshie should be ****ed with a rusty spike for including Allardyce, even in a comical manner.
