It's impossible that happens after beating spurs tbf.

    Not keen on Conte either.

To be fair to Nuno, I'd have walked if I'd been him anyway, the team is a bunch of clowns.

I don't think they'll get anyone better at the moment tbf.

Whether he'll go there knowing it'll likely be for a season or two only, I don't know.

Tell you what would be funny is if he went to them, and spent well, and if Spurs still struggled, it would make Levy a laughing stock if he isn't already.

He may do, but looking at them at the moment with no manager they're defo going down.

The trouble is that any prospective manager looking at the situation will see the same so probably won't touch the job.

Nuno might. He's a decent manager and could target the right additions in January to keep them up.

Nuno’s football relies on clean sheets and clinical finishing of few chances. The Toons defence is a bag of nails, he’d need a new entire defence in January to give his style a chance there. They’ll be virtually buried by then if they don’t find a way of winning games with what they’ve currently got.

Way I see it is Nuno is a better manager than Bruce. If Bruce could keep them up, I reckon Nuno will. Defensively and tactically he'll be an improvement on both Bruce and what they have now.

It may all be too late and they may still go down, but it's the best option they have imo.

Obviously with us being down there, I've taken an interest in the teams around us, Newcastle really need to win their next 3 homes games, all definitely winnable, don't see them getting anything from the next 2 aways. Then they are away to Leicester and the 2 scouse teams and home to the 2 Mancs, not sure they're upto getting much from those, New Year they could be on 13 points, not going to attract much quality in January If so. They need to really get this management appointment spot on but won't be easy.
Jones is today's John Carver, much too big a job for him, he was left a good Luton side for their league and only managed a 26% win rate with no where near the same pressure

I agree. The problem is they're in a catch 22 situation. They need a decent manager to keep them up, but if everything you've said is correct (which I tend to agree with) every prospective target will see it too and it'll put them off. It's going to make it really difficult to get the right manager atm.

Couple that with the fact that any prospective manager coming in now, knows they're only there to do the short term stabilisation until NUFC are in a position to attract a bigger name.

The pubes on my left nut are a better manager than Bruce.
I think Nuno could turn Newcastle around with the current personnel. They stayed up last year with largely the same team.

When we were linked with Nuno and Rafa, Nuno wasn't the man I wanted in!

Think, like Dyche, he was at the club perfect for him. Hope he goes to Newcastle :)

    He'll improve Spurs

But let's be honest, even Antonio Banderas would improve Spurs atm

    Levy is a shyster.

He told Poch he'd back him with a proper budget and he didn't
He told Kane he had a Gentleman's agreement that he could leave and he ****ed him over
He did the same with Luka Modric

Man is a snake, full of broken promises.

He'll give Conte a big contract and then tell him he needs to turn Oliver Skipp into a worldie.
