Thing is mate, you have Levy at the helm. He's been there for two decades and what have you got to show for it. A league cup and the Aldi trophy ? He's hired and fired more managers than I've had hot dinners and when he did seem to get it right with Pochettino, the same issue came up again which keeps holding you back, you never invest in the players you actually need. Poch told him, but Levy's ego got in the way so he ****ed him off instead.

I know most of your lot worship Levy like some kind of demi god, but for the rest of us we can see just how much he holds you back. The problem now is that the team you had in 2018/19 which was on the cusp of something special, has now broken up and even Kane and Son look disinterested. You've brought in dross and it's going to take a couple of seasons of rebuilding, and that's if Levy can get a proper manager and give him the funds he needs.

I don't see it happening, Levy is toxic for your club. But he and very few of your lot can see it.

 

I think over the last 5 years Levy’s gotten just about everything wrong and I’d say a large percentage of fans would be happy if there was a new change of direction at the top but his tenure hasn’t been 20 years of failure as some would suggest.

A lot of his work will serve us well in the many years to come with the improved infrastructure but it came at the price of neglecting the team for years which is ultimately what fans truly care about. He got so caught up with the business aspects of football that he forgot about the football itself and we’ve paid the price for it.

The tipping point for many was giving the statement about bringing back the club’s identity in terms of style only to then appoint the B-tech Jose. I have sympathy towards Nuno in that he’s a decent bloke and had the odds against him but no one wanted him here, I don’t even think the players did and it shows, he’s a very, very basic manager. Now it seems those at the top realise the cheap option isn’t always the best and are now going back in for Conte. If Conte joins then he’ll have assurances over control and a budget he’d deem worthy of utilising to improve the squad over time, there’s no way he joins without that and I wouldn’t blame him either.
