Neville made the foolish decision to manage abroad. It wouldn't surprise me if he eventually became a manager. Keane is just a madman who ruled on fear.

People are saying the same about Guido, which is why his neck is on the line! Why appoint another manager with similar personal characteristics? Giggs was overly stressed after four matches as interim manager, losing sleep and reduced to tears. What makes you think he can manage us? It seems more like an experiment for Man U.

His neck is on the line for one reason only and you only have to look at the table for that.....How anyone in their right mind would want to keep FG is astonishing. Other clubs would have got rid long ago and really we should have as well......I like the man personally but i dont want him managing the club....

I'm not advocating Giggs as I'd actually prefer someone with a bit of experience if given the choice, but managing one of the biggest clubs in the world is a little different from the Swans don't you think?

Giggs is clearly a weak character, and he really needs to start his trade in the lower leagues, I think that we have done our fair share of rookies, it's now time for some serious experience, because we are out of shape, and our possession stats have dropped year on year since arriving in the premier league some 6 seasons ago, so Giggs is a definite NO for me.

Did you know that Joe Allen was desperate to come back here? He almost begged the club for a return, yet our boardroom idiots didn't even make a bid, our squad has been weakened by Huw Jenkins, and that's one of the reasons that Franco is struggling, yes Franco has his limitations but we lost yesterdays game by some schoolboy defending, and some equally serious mistakes in front of goal, and now the players are worried who our boardroom will pick next, there is an arrogance that has developed in the boardroom and nothing will surprise me anymore, but one thing is for sure, we need a strong character to knock some shape into this squad.

PS: I was down the Langland Bras this afternoon, and Curt was sitting on the next table, I was very tempted to tell him to kit up for our next game, as we are desperate for goals, but my boys prevented me!!!..........<laugh>

Yes. That's why I referred to it as a Man U experiment. Doesn't matter now though!

Phil, in fairness, I think that, in the end, you were also of the opinion that a change was necessary.

Guidolin is a decent guy - but would he have kept us up this season? I'm not sure - in any case, we will never know.

Bradley would have been no one's selection on this Forum - but, then again, how many wanted Francesco before he was appointed in January?

I agree, it's going to get interesting. I understand that the consortium members have invested their personal funds in buying the Club (rather than using third party funds they "control").

If that is the case, they must be crapping themselves that the value of their investment is about to go tits-up if relegation happens<cheers>

I agree with most of your thoughts here, though I would liked to have seen Franco given until the end of October, as the team looked on the up, but that is water under the bridge now, I also knew that unless he won the Liverpool game, which our useless nuggets threw away, then it would be curtains for him......<ok>
