The St Mirren manager according to some bloke from Sky. He'll get 5 times what he earns at St Mirren and will only cost £50K compo.

Has this club ever had an owner who moves along at this speed !
Growing grass doesn't stand a chance with Donald.
I'll plump for the Sheffield Utd guy.

Understand Sunderland have offered Jack Ross FIVE TIMES his salary at St Mirren. They only need to pay around £50,000 compensation to St Mirren. Ross still abroad on holiday.

I understand Sunderland have agreed terms with St Mirren boss Jack Ross to become their new manager. Ross was Manager of the Year in Scotland this season.

In terms of investors, Stewart Donald says he’ll travel to Monaco this weekend to meet a potential friend and investor . “It will be a minority stake,” he admitted.

Understand Donald has begun making a raft of redundancies on the non-playing staff this morning. Yesterday CEO Martin Bain was the first to lose his job.

New Sunderland owner Stewart Donald says he has agreed terms with a new manager – but will not reveal his identity. Donald has admitted he has agreed broad terms this morning on a two year contract with a performance-based third year.

If it is this fella, who I admit I know literally **** all about, it does appear we’ve done well to get him and had competition for him.

Ipswich is a decent championship club so it shows we are still a draw, being a shark in a fish tank in this league.

Sadly they will never go away mate, I’m sure every club has them but we have them in buckets.

The kind of people who complain that it’s too hot in summer.

Aye the north east has their fair share of them generally doesn't it!! all of the idiots will likely be "Oh - A managerial appointment I've never hear of so can pass absolutely no comment on as I can't form an opinion - so he must be ****e"

The 2 year deal with a performance based 3rd year is a very good plan - wonder what the conditions are - promotion this year followed by consolidation next year I would envisage.

I can see nothing but positive from this as it's happening quickly so they'#re not messing about at the club.

His equivalent experience is League 1 level. He might be a class or 2 above that though but wont know until he's been given a chance . Sounds like we're going to find out what

Glad it's been done so quickly and I wish him every success and hope he's better at being a manager than our last Scottish manager Mr Moyes.
Mind he'd have to be pretty useless not to out do Moyes.
